Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding, Burger Up, Nashville

You can tell this is becoming a mini-obsession. Burger Up is known for its innovative burger combinations and fresh ingredients, so how Krispy Kreme BP was added to the mix, I don't know. But I went with the aforementioned friend who had had it before and was not taken with it. After tasting it, I agree. It didn't resonate or form a permanent memory other than, "OK, I checked that one off the list." I give it 2 slices because my expectations were higher. It was custardy-tasting and soft, not quite icky, in the middle.

Welcome Bread Pudding Lovers!

I rarely make BP, but I seek it. If I made it, I'd eat it all so this is the best way I can indulge, one portion at a time.

The rating system goes from one BP fork or thingy (yuck) to four BP (divine) forks or thingies (thingies were predecessors to the forks system).

Note: I do NOT like raisins in my BP, particularly those sneaky yellow raisins, so I'll make it clear if raisins, nuts or other accessories are in the BP.

Another preference is that I feel BP should stand alone. If it needs sauce, ice cream, whipped cream, etc., then it gets a lower rating. If those extras are just extras and the BP is good all by itself, I'll indicate that.
