Wishbone, Chicago

This is just HALF of the order of Wishbone BP. Wishbone is a local

chain serving something called "southern reconstruction cuisine." I'm not sure what that is but the food is dependable and a little different than what you'd find at home. The BP is smooth, cinnamon-laced, and not very sweet. The caramel sauce is a necessary enhancement. I'd call the BP dependable, too. It's not amazing, but it's very good and will hit the spot.

Price: $5 (I think. The menu online is so cumbersome to see, I didn't check again)

Sauce: Yes, caramel
Ice cream: No

Welcome Bread Pudding Lovers!

I rarely make BP, but I seek it. If I made it, I'd eat it all so this is the best way I can indulge, one portion at a time.

The rating system goes from one BP fork or thingy (yuck) to four BP (divine) forks or thingies (thingies were predecessors to the forks system).

Note: I do NOT like raisins in my BP, particularly those sneaky yellow raisins, so I'll make it clear if raisins, nuts or other accessories are in the BP.

Another preference is that I feel BP should stand alone. If it needs sauce, ice cream, whipped cream, etc., then it gets a lower rating. If those extras are just extras and the BP is good all by itself, I'll indicate that.
